Bridge classified as Historical Monument Saved by Injection with WEBAC®1403

The Netherlanders are really proud of their "Oude Ijsselbrug Katerrreer 1" in Zwolle. Being a historical monument this bridge looks back upon a long historic-cultural tradition. Unfortunately, all these years have left their mark on the structure of the bridge. Fine cracks have formed in the pillars which threatened to endanger the entire structure in the long run. Therefore the 2-component PU Injection Resin WEBAC®1403 was injected in the course of a basic reconstruction scheme. This sealing system is of low viscosity, absolutely solvent-free and suitable for sealing cracks and cavities in dry and wet areas. Thanks to this crack injection the bridge could be re-opened and is now perfectly prepared for any strain caused by traffic and weather.
