Along with EN 1504-5 the performance concept was introduced to the reconstruction of buildings. It is no longer the type of material but its efficiency alone which determines the application. So we are today also able to fulfill the performance characteristics of EP resins with PU systems. WEBAC®1660 is such a new “hybrid resin“.

WEBAC®4170T
20.12.2011 - the low-temperature solution for sealing cracksYear after year – not only is the Christmas season fast approaching, but also the cold and wet season for all those working in the construction sector. As a matter of fact, the conditions for closing or sealing cracks are ideal at these low temperatures which provide maximum crack widths.
As soon as seasonal moisture comes into play, however, most epoxies quickly come up against their limits especially under these conditions.
Thanks to its extremely low viscosity WEBAC®4170T is easy to apply – also at low temperatures – and stands out due to its moisture compatibility and low-temperature reactivity even if used under the most difficult conditions typical of Central European winters.
WEBAC®4170T is very tough and has a compressive strength above 60 MPa so that there is no risk of brittle fractures or renewed ruptures of structurally closed cracks, construction joints or gaps also in next year’s spring.
