WEBAC® 4204: universally applicable construction and mortar resin for priming

WEBAC® 4204 is a highly fillable, universal construction and mortar resin. It is suitable as universal primer for dry mineral substrates. WEBAC® 4204 is also suitable as base resin for leveling and scratch coats before applying WEBAC coatings. The product complies with DIN EN 13813.

Universal primer and scratch primer of high strength and mechanical resistance

WEBAC® 4204 has a very good wetting effect on mineral substrates. It cures to form a material of constant volume which is characterized by its high strength and resistance to mechanical stress. WEBAC® 4204 is also resistant to common cleaners, lubricants, fuels and diluted acids and lyes.

The workable life of WEBAC® 4204 amounts to about 30 minutes at 20 °C. It is influenced by the quantity of material applied and the material's inherent temperature. Ideal application conditions are temperatures between 12 °C and 20 °C. At lower temperatures, the product's viscosity increases, whereas its workable life decreases at higher temperatures. At high air humidity, the surface may show signs of matting which does not influence the material’s strength though. At 20° C temperature of the structural element and a layer thickness of approx. 1 mm, WEBAC® 4204 is accessible to pedestrians after approx. 12 hours. It is fully cured and mechanically stress resistant after approx. two to three days. Lower temperatures of the structural element slow down the curing process accordingly.
