WEBAC_® 1401: PU injection resin for post-construction dpc in masonry

WEBAC_® 1401 is a very low viscosity resin based on PU characterized by its very good flow and penetration behavior. It is suitable as injection material for dry, damp or wet masonry. Used as post-construction damp proof course (dpc) in masonry with low pore volume WEBAC_® 1401 prevents the capillary rise of moisture. The low viscosity injection resin is introduced to the pores and capillary structure of the masonry by means of pressure injection. Its effect is based on the principle of capillary obstruction.
 

WEBAC_® 1401 provides for constant volume, high elasticity and chemical resistance

The low viscosity resin WEBAC_® 1401 cures to form a resin of constant volume, high elasticity and chemical resistance. The fully cured resin is perfectly resistant to detrimental acids, salts and lyes in concentrations generally found in building structures. WEBAC_® 1401 is water-repellent and watertight even in the form of a thin film or when used for closing structural pores. In salt-loaded masonry, WEBAC_® 1401 ensures that any existing salts are rendered inert within the injection level. The low viscosity resin is highly compatible with concrete, steel, masonry mortars, foil and cable sheathing.
