WEBAC® 1404

WEBAC® 1404 is a PU injection resin for economical use in damp proof courses (dpc) and open‑pored concrete structures.

WEBAC® 1404: injection resin for sealing cracks in dry and wet areas

WEBAC® 1404 is a low viscosity and highly economical PU resin. It is designed for sealing cracks in dry and wet areas. The economical PU resin WEBAC® 1404 is suitable as post-construction damp proof course (dpc) against capillary rising moisture in masonry. It is also recommended for filling cavities in masonry with high pore volume (e.g. quarrystone). 
 

Obstruction of capillary active mortar pores after curing

The economical PU resin WEBAC® 1404 only has a marginal tendency of foam formation upon contact with moisture. Curing takes place about 24 hours after the crack injection. Higher temperatures speed up the curing process, lower temperatures slow down the process. WEBAC® 1404 cures to form a chemical-resistant resin of constant volume. This is how it obstructs the mortar's capillary active pores. 

WEBAC® 1404 has an inerting effect on salts existent in salt-loaded building structures. This does not affect the resin's reaction. Compatibility of injection resin WEBAC® 1404 with concrete, steel, masonry mortars as well as foil and cable sheathing is provided.
